Ein Penny pro Meile - A Penny a Mile

Vom 20. August 2017 bis ca. 25. November 2017 werde ich mit der Clipper Round the World-Regatta von Liverpool (England) nach Fremantle (Australien) segeln. Ich bin des Teams "Visit Seattle". Es ist für mich ein grosses Privileg, an einem solchen Abenteuer teilnehmen zu können. Um etwas der Welt zurückzugeben, welche dies für mich möglich gemacht hat, sammle ich Spenden für UNICEF, dem offiziellen Wohltätigkeits-Partner der Clipper-Regatta.

Es leben weit über eine Milliarde Kinder auf diesem Planet. Die meisten davon haben kein Zugang zu Bildung und Wohlstand wie wir. UNICEF engagiert sich weltweit für bessere Lebensbedingungen von Kindern, und setzt sich für die Rechte der Kinder ein. Mit der Unterstützung von UNICEF helfen wir, dass die Welt für uns alle ein besserer Ort wird. Denn die Kinder von heute sind die Menschen von morgen.

From 20 August 2017 to 25 November 2017 I will be sailing with the Clipper Round the World Race from Liverpool (England) to Fremantle (Australia), being part of the team 'Visit Seattle'. As it is a great privilege for me to be able to participate such an adventure, I'd like to give something back to the world, that has made this possible.Therefore I am raising money for UNICEF, the offical charity partner of the Clipper Race.

There are more than a billion children living on this planet. Most of them do not have access to education and welfare as we do. UNICEF is working to make the world a better place for all children, UNICEF stands up for their rights. By supporting UNICEF we help the world becoming a better place for all of us. Because the children of today is the mankind of tomorrow.
